Kansas Cowboy
« on: April 26, 2010, 11:52:58 AM »

A exceptional standard cabinet card image of an authentic working cowboy and his mount. Rubber stamped on the reverse: H. L. Truesdell, LANDSCAPE & VIEW PHOTOGRAPHER, COPYING ENLARGING INSTANTANEOUS WORK,
Sterling, Ks.

Though Harry Lynn Sterling seems to have specialized in outdoor views, most photographers of the time worked from the studio. Photographs like this are rare.

Very nice.  Is there any indication what year the photograph was taken?
