Could someone please help me understand? I know I want an Uberti 73 in .38/.357. What is the differance in the models imported by the different companies ( Stevens, Cimmaron, Taylor, and any others I may not know of ) I've even seen an Aldo Uberti somewhere for sale. ( I think I got that right ) If anyone could clarify this for me I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Basically they're all the same, but some of the companies have different caliber-barrel length-finish options.

Some companies, at least according to reports, are better about their warranties than others.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

Howdy js22, they are all Uberti importers just different roll stamps on the barrel. If you are planning to buy a stock 73 stick with Taylor's, fast friendly service. If you intend to have it slicked up, it will save you the extra shipping to buy from one of the gunsmiths that offer package deals ready to roll. I think Cody does most of Taylor's smith work.  Here's a few in no particular order that offer package deals. Good Luck.

Thanks to you Jefro. Ordered my Taylors Uberti model 1873 20" rifle and an IAC model 97 shotgun from Cody Conagher, and a pair of SASS vaqueros from Jim at Long Hunters Shooting Supply today. Thanks to everyone for the replies!
