RARE 1895 PHOTOGRAPH OF A QUADRUPLE CALIFORNIA LYNCHING SCENE

5 x 8" silver gelatin image on larger 6.75 x 10" mount, identified in manuscript hand on blank margins, and titled Hanged by a Mob August 26th, 1895. The four unfortunates were being held on various murder charges.
