CDV OF KANSAS COWBOY WITH SKELETON PISTOL STOCK & PIPE

With Charles & Teeples Kansas imprint on verso. Image shows a man seated on a stool, legs crossed, spurs on his boots, bandanna and broad-brimmed hat. He holds a skeleton stock for a revolver in one hand, the stem of a pipe visible in his lap.

The stocked pistol looks, to me, like a Marbles Game Getter.

Not necessarily.... the skeleton detachable stocks have been around since 1876.
