454190 6 cavity bullet molds

There is a group Buy going on at www.castboolits.gunloads.com for a LEE 6 cavity mould for an old style(square lube groove) 454190 mould.  If you like traditional bullets this is a good time to get a 6 cavity mould as it isn't offered normally by LEE and the newer Lyman moulds have the round bottom grooves that don't hold as much lube.Just look for the 454190 listing in the Group Buy section.  I am not runing this GB, but I do plan on getting at least one of the moulds. It looks like the bullet on the left, except it should cast better. I did this one with an old Ideal tong tool mould.

Hey Slim, Did you see where Lee just uped the wait on custom molds to 9-12 months? They also had a company memo that stated that any one who complained about the wait would be put at the rear of line. That's on the Cast Boolits site. You know me as cajun shooter.

Apparently they have taken their new machine that they were going to dedicate to custom moulds and have started using it for regular work as their sales have increased so much the last few months. I guess we have Obama to thank for this, everybody is "getting ready to be ready" for when this stuff becomes legislated out of existence or just becomes taxed to death and so more expensive. Even so, LEE is the ONLY one who will make 6 cavity moulds, so we just have to wait for it or get 2-4 cavity moulds. Or do both. Being Americans we are used to getting what we want NOW, but sometimes is just isn't possible and we have to be patient. Kinda like waiting for the liberals to screw up everything and show how little they really care about the working man and his rights.
