I think we have all done it.  It doesn't help either when the RO gives you the wrong directions either.   Been there too.

My first shoot was so long ago I’m not sure how it felt.  Except for one thing “DON’T LET ME DROP A GUN”!  I didn’t fulfill my worst scenario on the first stage, so the rest to the match was a whole lot easier.
That was about 20 years ago.
Now I just shoot to make smoke and noise. 
I’m still tryin’ to shoot fast enough to win (regardless of  misses)!!
