Howdy fellow Darksiders,

I, and Four others on Posse Four were in charge of Mosquito Control.  The bugs were ferocious, but we did prevail.  Our smoke was too much for them.  Here's a photo of ol DD dealing out justice from the back of Clyde.

Naw Bob, one good smokey round and they are coughing so hard that they just fall right out of the air and Clyde stomps on 'em. ;D

There were Five of us shootin' Holy Black on Posse Four.  We kept chasin' the skeeters over to the next canyon where Posse Three had to deal with 'em.  The fog of war was considerable.

Dick   Great Smoke, some of them little buggers are hard to hit,on the wing.  That reminds me of a pard s mother. She came to visit him for a couple of weeks, one afternoon they were on his porch. He was repriming 10 ga. brass hulls. A big horse fly kept bothering them both,so he went in the house and came back out with the shotgun, loaded two primed hulls in. he then blasted the fly out of the air. His mother who is in her 80 s ,Said gee that looks like fun can I try the next one,she proceeded to wing shoot a number of flys ,that afternoon.      Adios  Sgt. Jake

Ho PUK,

Ol Clyde is an old war horse.  Mostly he just stands there while you deliver lead.  You gotta have your game plan down cuz Clyde never retreats.

Badges, um, uh, yup.  It's my stinkin SASS badge.  Onlyist place I kin find to keep it where I don't loose it.  Says 45219 on it.  I think they are up to around 80,000 now.  I also have a 'Thundercolt's Renegades' badge.  When I wear it I write 800 seconds on all my times and then shoot and have a hoot and to heck with the stinkin' clock.

There's a link to 'Thundercolt's Renegades' on my web site in the Links section.

Richard;  Yes; I followed the thread where you discussed the time-no time issue.  Love it, but I am a bit more competative. Nowhere near a gamer and I have to practise lots to get anything done.  There are lots of ways to;

SHOOT LOTS & HAVE LOTS OF FUN!

Its just a game ya know

Is "Clyde" short for Clydesdale?

Let's have a beer!

Good job on the skeeters, Dick!

Good on ya Dick, that skeeter control method looks a might familiar.

That noble steed is a real plankster.  Just stands around waiting for deserving cowboys to jump on and kill steel.  As I said tho, Clyde won't retreat so ya just have to climb on and fight to the end.  I think his breeding is primarily plywood.

FWIW, it's tough swattin' mosquitoes when shootn' BPGF. . . :o

I had the privilege to be on Posse #4 and was really impressed watching DD shoot BPGF. Probably the only time in my life when I actually felt sorry for Mosquito's.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Dick Dastardly

It was good shootin' with ya Johnny.  We had a great posse.  There were no leakers that didn't help out no matter how bad the skeeters got.

I'm lookin' forward to the posse photo.  I want to shoot you pards again.

Black Powder

Maybe he wuz referrin' to the skeeters, sarcastically.

BP
I've got my excuses and I'm stickin' to 'em.

Dick Dastardly

Typo, brain fart, senior moment or just plain sloppy posting.  Insert "with" and it works.  I had the pleasure of shooting WITH great pards on a great posse.

This weekend, Rock River Regulators match.  I hope many of the same bunch can make it.

Whew!

I wuz 'fraid you were gonna shoot at Johnny!  Not to mention the other pards!

Johnny's made the trip down here to Iny-nanner and we'd like to have him back, if possible!  And we got to meet his sweetie at E'ville - that was a REAL treat!

Now Dick, feel free to deal with any and all of the skeeters you can in any way possible.  I got a feeling that as wet as it's been so far this spring/early summer, them critters are gonna be a real problem.
