Thanks for the offer Camille.
My chosen period is 1883-1887. I'm leaning towards a retired military or law enforcement persona. I'm one of the founding members of the GLF&MC and was the first Representative of this NCOWS Posse. Due to real life, I've been away from CAS for a while but plan on getting (and staying) active again starting this year.
I shoot black powder (the real thing) loads in all my irons. My rifle is a '73 in 44-40, my pistols (all EMF Hartford) are either a pair of 44-40s with 7.5 inch barrels or .45 Colt, one 5.5 and one 7.5. I have two Rossi hammer doubles, one overland and one coach. I also have a Belgian hammer double with 28 inch tubes that was made sometime around 1900.
My loads are compressed 2f in all three (44-40, .45 Colt, and 12 GA Brass).
Thanks again.
Vernon
