Bill
Are you talking about the center fire breach block or the magazine fowler? And is it for an original, a Ramono or an Armisport?

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome, and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...."WOW!... What a ride!"

I have one of those SS followers in my original '65 and it's worked great for several years.

I hate to modify my original, so what I think I may try is to make one on my lathe...only using some engineering plastic... from the looks of it, won't take but a few minutes...and about $.25 worth of plastic..or brass...

I lathe-made one for my 1860 rifle out of brass--not too difficult and I love turning brass--shiny. Just make sure you hollow it out enough (like an original) to reduce the weight--those magazine springs aren't very powerful and I don't know how they'd do with much extra weight.

There is a plastics place close to my home and they sell a engineering plastic called Delron that comes in white, green or black....and is self lubracating....pretty light... I think it would make a great follower....also it's a ton of fun to play with on the lathe.....
