A name for my persona!

Frenchie

I'm starting to finally settle on a persona. I want him to have a "normal" name. My real name is French, of course, and it's usually pronounced in English.

The name Guy has the same root as William and Wyatt, and la france means "the free (or frank) people", so to make my name completely English, it might be, for example, William French. That's what I'd like my persona's name to be.

I'm going to add "aka Sgt. William French" to my sig lines here and elsewhere. Sgt. French is from Baltimore, currently attached to the Military District of Washington, serving as a senior armorer, with duties that usually keep him in Baltimore.

So, whaddya think?

Well, Sgt. Wm. French, pleased to make your acquaintence.

Sounds reasonable and well thought-through. Works for me.

Thank you, gentlemen! I'm glad you like it.

Doctor, I very much want to come for dinner, it's a matter of being able to do it.

Well, now I gotta get busy and write up a bio for this goober. What I've come up with so far makes me think he's not someone I'd particularly want to hang with  ;D

Which probably means he'd fit right in with this crowd!  ;D

Thoughtful name selection also.

Edward it is! William Edward French. Easy to remember because it's my son's middle name too.

Del, I love country fried steak with gravy, corn or green beans and smashed 'taters!
