new guns

I am just staring cowboy action and i  buying the guns soon ,I have a blackhawk .357 will that work.I know i have to buy  another one and I am grting a wincheter 94 trapper .357 and what shot gun should i get?

Welcome! Get ready for the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Your blackhawk will work just fine. I suggest, if you haven't done so already, go to a few shoots and take a look at the guns the cowboys are using. I'll bet you find that that 94 may not be such a good idea. I haven't met anyone who started with a 94 that hasn't traded it off for something else. They are a good rifle but don't do so well at our game. There are many more rifles out there for the same or less money that will perform much better. Go to a match or two and check it out, your thank yourself later.

Howdy Leatherman, I would go for a non hammered double barrel stage coach shotgun. They have the look, they do the job. Check out the Stoegers and the Remingtons. They are very popular.
With one of them you can really have a blast, literally.
