Finally went shootin' last Sunday in King George (Pepper Mill Creek).  Hadn't touched a gun in about 18 months.  It felt good to release the heathen powder smoke again.

I am coming to the VA Black Powder shoot.  See ya then!

LR I think this is number 7.  Hard to believe it has been that long since we shot the first one.  I've been busy and haven't shot in a while, but I'm looking forward to shooting with my smokey pards.

My 10 sang loudly and with great purpose!

Went old school with Roger and Spencer cap and ball pistols - and got to shoot with pards we hadn't seen in awhile.

Brisco thanks for coming East - I need to come west one of these days and also go down and shoot with NC contingent too!

Glad to here a good time was had by all. Found out I am getting arthritis in my hands, particularly my right one. It looks like I am going to have sell off my Remington and Army cap and ball revolvers and tone down my BP loads for my other guns. I hope to get back to shooting next month.

PR  I'm gonna try to make the June 7 Waverly shoot.  If I do C&B will be the plan.  I'll also plan to bring 3 or 4 lb of BP for Nutmegger.  If you have a lb or two then he should be set for awhile. 

LR how is the shootin going out west?

WW, roger that hoping to make next two shoots - one in West Pt and one in Sussex.

I will bring 3-4 lbs as well (just in case).

I will be most likely shooting FC next couple shoots - unless Sarah has events that precludes her shooting. Once Sarah can load and unload on her own - I am going to give the C&Bs a run for a good while - but until then I will probably just shoot C&B when she can't shoot due to other kiddo events.
