Who shoots pre-1900 Colt pistols?
« on: April 22, 2007, 07:00:46 PM »
Howdy,

Trying to get an idea how many out there are using real BP Colt Peacemakers in CAS, and if with real BP or BP sub loads?

Thanks,
Marshal Hoyt

I know one fella that shoots old Colts (I believbe 1870s or 80s vintage) with standard level black powder loads.

   Greetings!

Mine almost qualifies: Colt 1902 "Alaskan" DAA. I'd picked it up in NM dirt cheap because some clown had a "gunsmith" give it a $10 'Buffing-wheel Re-Blue'. It's tight & shoots great!

   Be Well!
