'Ol Gabe, you are my favourite..and you know this, man!

Two days ago I was talking with a strange guy regarding the reloading prices for ammo...his intention was to solve this problem suggesting to another guy to buy a .45/120 and using a rifle for 3 different CALIBERS....buying a great affair....3 calibers in only one and at a price of only one rifle!
I was wordless.....

He told me that rifling barrel will be not damaged at all .... only problem could be in a part of barrel: in the final chamber of explosion place and where the rifling is beginning (were usually ball for .45/120 is sit down!)....after so long time this could be damaged in a little part...again I was wordless!

He told me...."...you know each .45/120 is tested to 3,200 atm (46,400 psi) and so you have no prob to have only 2,680 atm (41,470 psi)..."
 ??? :o
