Bullet Casting Furnace-Which one?
« on: February 22, 2006, 09:01:02 AM »
Howdy,
Looking to get back into casting bullets, mostly muzzleloader bullets .45 to .58 caliber. Years ago I used a Lee Production pot. Looking at the Lee Pro 4 and the Lyman Mag-20. Has anybody had any experience, good or bad with these products. Thanks.

I use the Lee Pro 4. Have used it for a couple of years without any problems. It melts lead just as good as any.

Thanks for the info Wes Virginian. I purchased the Lyman Master casting kit out of Cabela's. It comes with the 10 pound Mini Mag pot and the Lyman 4500 bullet sizer/lubricator, dipper, ingot mould, lube and the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. But in the not too distant future I probably will buy the Lee pro 4 or Lyman Mag 20 bottom pour pots.
