Alrighty then :) :) I wanna see others too~I have a very good friend in Eric Burkholter (aka) Wolfgang..He saw this hammer double a couple years ago and thought ole GunClick should have a shootgun,he bought it then sent me an email and said hey got to that FFL guy you have and pick up your package~~HUH ??? I says, whach you talkin bout Willis! He said just go pick it up and pay me back anyway you can, course i knew he was after my Tell Sacket knife, but i told him he could have anything but that till i payed him off(another story about a small war on that one) :D, which i did as fast as i could.

Now i fell in love with this shootgun as soon as i layed eyes on it,but the way i got it made it so special i wouldn't part with it fer a million dollars,it may not be italian or english or the most bueatiful shootgun ya ever saw,but it is the coolest one i ever put a hand around! My grandpa had an old damascuss 10 guage that hung on his wall since before i was born on a set of ram horns, but my cousin got it after Pop Son passed cuase my uncle shot it when he was younger.

Well i never thought i would have such a thing so when Wolfy did this he had no idea how much it meant to have one to hang on my wall and also shoot becuase it has steel barrels :) I had never seen brass shot shells before either and i thought holy crimeny, now that makes a statement!!!! Sorry to go on so long about it,but i really apreaciate Wolfy for helpin me out on this out of the blue, can't wait till my leg is healed up and away i go,gonna be a real pleasure to shoot this treasure!! Thanks Wolfy, you are a good friend!!!!!! And of course he knows he can borrow my knife or anything i have anytime he wants ;) :) Cept my wife,i wouldn't do that to a friend ;D Time for a little micro detailing i see too, better get out the flitz :-[

Ivory bead site, greener lock up,buffalo horn butt on stock, sit real nice and not too heavy :) :)

Bunch a ole scudders!

G for one of
Hey, just a heads up.  TTN is no more.  Those very guns are now being imported by Cimarron and retailed by various vendors (EMF, Taylor's etc.  those guns spent a long time in a container before finally being shipped.  When this current crop of guns are gone there will be no more.

That wast the point.  A friend brought me one to fix the lever spring.  I shot it with a bunch of lube to help free up the screws and the gun started to puke RUST.  The plan was to fix the spring.  Wound up taking it completely apart to get  the rust out of it. Rust was everywhere.
If you acquire or know anyone who acquires one, it needs to be taken COMPLETELY apart and flushed out as soon as possable.

Now, I got lazy with this one and rather than tune the lever spring, I just swapped out the stock spring for one of the new lever springs from the folks at "Slixsprings" and the new spring is just too KOOL.  And I didn't have to taste ground steel!!  The spring is well worth the price.

Well ...... Another fun blurb.  Most of us in the CAS game and those of us who work(d) on CAS guns know full well CCI primers are well useless when we tune our handguns and rifles for smooth and speed.  Some even do the same to their shotguns.  The Main Springs in my TTN/Cimarron hammer doubles are stock.  They work a treat and are easy to cock that way.
I got a wild hair and decided to play with all brass 12 Ga shells for my hammer doubles.  FUN!!  What a hoot!!  Except for one lesson learned.
CCI primers are also useless for CAS shotguns.  Long as you wear safety glasses, CCI are kinda fun on a anvil with a ball peen hammer.

Sort of like the good old days when rolls of caps actually had some omph to them.  Everyone started out smacking one or two caps at a time and then the whole roll.  Wow, didn't need to comb your hair for a couple of days.   :o
