Pffft...I got NUTHIN' gun related.   :(  NADA!  Why do they bother asking for a Christmas list when they never even bother to look at it?!?  I am a man of very simple, elemental tastes.....lead, BP, wads, patches....easy!  What did I get?  Socks (now THERE'S a surprise...), underwear, a book on minimalist living in Japan (WTF?!?) and a couple DVDs....NONE of them Westerns.   :-\  I get the impression that my wife and kids just...aren't....paying.....attention.

I must have been very good - got a bunch of new brass in three different sizes, 8 lbs of Red Dot, 2000 primers, a couple new magazines and a set of proper walnut grips for my 1911. No socks though.

SHUX, I will not know until I get back home after the holidays!  I did treat myself to two biggies before leaving home.  I purchased a pair of Avenging Angles and sent my favorite Pietta .44s in for conversion to .45 cartridge guns!  I hope to get them back  shortly after returning home also.

I am pretty sure it will happen but since I bought these used from a regular, I am sure they have been posted in the past.  They were cut down from Uberti Armies and had brass Navy grips installed.  Those Navy grips were what pushed me over the cliff, I always have to pay mucho extra bucks to make that conversion or else buy the Pietta half-breeds.  I am betting that they would actually handle and look good with birds head grips also!  When I get home there will be a great deal of new leather to be made and I will photo the guns with their new holsters.
