This is like one of those David Letterman lists:

-  Watching Tascosa Joe go "off the reservation" and start shooting the long distance targets.  I do believe his new name is "Sargent Major Jack."

-  The little "Irish-Mexican War" that was waging on Posse 2 . . . and no it is not over.

-  The look on Biscuit's face when he got that bundle of dynamite at the banquet.  He's sleeping with it in his bed tonight.

Best thing?  That's simple.  The four, count 'em, four, junior shooters on Posse 2.  Now if the other posses had such a contingent, the future of NCOWS would be looking bright indeed.

Indeed, we need to work on that. I bet that was a joy to watch those young folks.

Watching and helping those 4 youngsters shoot the match.  Watching Pancho does his Leprechaun dance.  Hanging out with old friends and shooting with the folks on posse 2.  Seeing W.H. Violett's wife's excitment over the Victorian era clothes and visiting with the other ladies about "how to".

OK, I gotta ask...
What is/was the "...little "Irish-Mexican War"..."? Did words get exchanged and do I need to come down and set on somebody, hmmmm?
Sure wishin' I could have been there, the Nationals seem to get better every year!
Best regards and hope to see you all on the Firing Line someday soon!

On stage 9, the shooter started by throwing a "stick of dynamite" down range.  Biscuit showed great inititive and chose to toss his at a couple of loitering Irishmen; shouting "death to the Irish."
