Moccasin Styles I Make.

This is in response to Forty Rod's reply to the moccasin thread below, wanting to see photos of a pair of moccasins I made for Tascosa Joe, a friend of mine down in Texas.

Here ya go.....! The top pair is Comanche I made for myself, for a film we are shooting this August. The left moc has the flap up. This is the same moccasin I made for Tascosa Joe.
The second pair is a set of scout boots I made for Dave Hollandsworth, the buttons are functional.
The next two pair are Apache toe tab moccasins. The first set I made for a fella up in Maine...the second pair are mine.
Oh yea...these are all hand sewn.

I am glad you posted these since I am camera computer illiterate.  I put the extra Dr Scholles inserts in mine like you told me to do.  They are really comfortable.  I have been wearing them ever since they arrived.

What function does the toe tab do? Is it just decorative?
