Now here's a movie worth some discussion.
Hadn't seen it in YEARS. It was made in 1970 and definately a sign of the times as movie making goes. It bounces back and forth between comedy and serious drama throughout--you're never quite sure what to expect. Hoffman did a great job with all the versatility and I have to say, that in the end, I enjoyed it. Could have done with out the "gunfighter phase" sequence but I liked the portrayals of Wild Bill and Custer.
I'm sure many will disagree, but I'd love to hear other opinions on this one.
