Not really, however you can age them yourself after fitting. The best "ager" is Fiebing's Medium Brown Leather Dye diluted with alcohol to get the color you want. Remember, if you're portraying a person in the 19th century they won't have ivory grips that look 130 yrs. old.  ;)

I think there's a faux Ivory grip out there that "ages" over time similar to real Ivory.

I know there are grips out there that are pre-aged.  But those don't actually age over time.  The material I'm thinking of actually ages - I think it might even have some real Ivory mixed in with it to allow it to age.
If'n I'm right, do any of you remember who makes/sells them? ???

Seth

I believe you are wanting "Tru Ivory" grips.

I have a pair of Tru-Ivory grips and for my money they look more like Ivory than the other white, tan or orange plastic grips out there. You can see the "growth rings" or grain in the Tru-Ivory. I believe that the color of them is what you get, as it is molded into the material. I'm not sure, but I don't know if they get darker with age or not. I'm probably not going to live long enough to find out what they look like in 50 years.

Seth: I have Tru-Ivory one piece on my Rodeo II, and they are wonderfull. Fooled a couple of people that have real ivory. Don't know if they darken over time, but you can order them with different stages of ageing. BB

Seth,   Tru Ivory does market their product as aging over time "just like real ivory".  I say Tru Ivory makes the  the best "Ivory grips" second only to real Ivory.

My gripmaker PU ivory grips age. Have some from 1997 that were white originally and now they are nice yellowish. This darkening started already in year 1. Gradual process over time. Mine darken no matter if you leave the surfaced just polished or varnished or waxed.
