ubeti/navy arms remington rolling block pistol in .45 lc
« on: August 11, 2008, 07:53:20 PM »
i've posted this before but periodically try again.

in the late 1970's uberti made a single shot remington rolling block repro pistol in .45 lc.  navy arms distributed them for awhile.

i am looking to find the .45 lc to convert to a bp spencer 56-50 to go with my carbine. i have seen commemorative models on sale but for mega-bucks because of the inlays. too pricey for me to have rebarreled or sleeved.

anyone got a lead on a garden variety .45 lc pistol in this configuration? thanks, geo.

Is there a reason you couldnt have the conversion done on a 22?

methinks there isn't enough left over after rebarreling to safely fire the 56-50 round. am open to suggestions and advice. thanks, geo.
