two hands for the weak-side gun

i see a lot of you use a cross-draw for your second gun and use your strong hand for both guns. i saw one pard with a strong side holster on his left side and transferring the gun to his right hand so that he could shoot two-handed. how would it work to shoot two-handed but shooting the gun with the left hand and using the right hand to cock the gun. in other words, how about shooting with two hands from both sides.
so many questions and so little time.

If you're holsters are set up right you don't have to actually transfer the gun from the left hand to the right hand to shoot two handed. You can actually grasp the gun with your thumb on the back strap and the index finger in front of the trigger guard to draw the gun and then when you reach the center of the body the left hand is exactly where it should be for supporting the gun and cocking it while the right hand pulls the trigger and does the rest of its part. In some parts this is also known as "palming" the gun.
If you are coordinated enough though I don't see any reason why you can't change your strong hand depending upon which gun that you shoot. I think that the majority of people just wouldn't feel comfortable doing that though.

The style of shooting you describe works real well. I've been doing it just that way for quite a few years now and it feels very natural to me. If you haven't already, give it a try, I'm thinking you'll like it.
