I would like to thank Grizzle Bear
« on: May 04, 2008, 09:33:32 PM »
For putting on an absolutely wonderful event this past weekend.  He even go the weather to cooperate...mostly.  Little windy, but hey, this is Kansas...we're known for that.

As always, this is my favorite multiday Kansas event of the year.  No issues with the tent being set up.  That was pretty fun, but I surely did like bang away at those rifle targets with the Trap Door Carbine.  At Cowboy matches, I like the pistol shooting the most usually, but shooting the big 45 - 70 as a main match rifle had the cool factor big time for me....

Thanks a lot Griz.  It was awesome!!!

I'll have to agree with Maj. Matt! [ A shocked look crosses Dr. Bob's face! :o :o :o ]  It was a great shoot. [ Except I didn't wear any sun screen on my hands and they blend in real well with my bright red shirt. ::) :-[ ;D ]  We did things that I didn't know could be done, but that is the norm at a KVC shoot.  Thanks GB!! ;D ;D ;D

Hear! Hear!
The event was enjoyable, the friendship and cameraderie were precious, and the entertainment was.....well, entertaining, to say the least.  The stages were fairly simple and straighforward, but challenged our skills as shootists.  My wife and I came away tired, but happy.  Thanks Griz, for ramrodding this shoot, and putting up with all of us for the weekend.

And as always, that mint on the pillow after they make up your bed in the tent is a nice little touch. :D

Thanks Griz and Dutchess and ALL who worked to put on the best shoot of the year (next to the GAF Muster that is). There are only a few shoots that I make it a point to shoot at and this one is at the top of my list. Already looking forward to next year's
entertainment. Anything will be better than.....oh, never mind.
