Cimmaron hammer swap...

I would like to know if it is possible to swap my Cimmaron Thunderer hammer for a lower Bisley hammer. The original hammer just digs a little in the belly carry.

no, they are entirely different animals.  However, there are several fellows out there that will heat your hammer and bend it back for you.

I will say that Cimarron is considering bringing out a new, lower profile hammer, similar to the Ruger Montado.  It will only be "legal" for mounted shooting as far as competition goes.  But it should be a drop-in replacement.  However, that is a ways down the road.
