Help Fitting New Grips
« on: March 15, 2008, 11:23:49 PM »
I bought some new resin ivory grips for my SAA at the gun show today.  They'll need to be fitted to the frame.  I googled for information on fitting a grip to the frame, but all I got was grips for sale that offered fitting as a service.  I know there have to be how-tos on the Internet, but I'm not having much luck finding one.  Can anybody point me to a site or offer a book title that has some good instructions on this?

Thanks for any help.

This guy has assembly/fitting instructions on his site.

Good luck with your project.

If your not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Thanks for the pointer.  For anybody following behind, follow the link from the eBay site to his web site

http://www.tombstonegrips.com/

Find the PDF there.

Next question.  I want to checker the grips too.  What's standard LPI for a pistol grip so I'll know which kit to get from Midway?
