Plastic shell holders for your 56-50 ammo...

Cabelas has 454/50AE boxes that hold 50 rounds.

They also work PERFECT for 56-50 ammo... both smoked and green tinted are available.

I bring the green with me for "smokeless" and the smoked for "BP" to the range.

They have a nice snap lid as well.  ($8.49 for a four pack)

Berry Manufacturing sells the same plastic cases and I think with more colors and price/quantity options.  However, Berry's 4-pack is more than the Cabela's listing; I'm pretty sure, that these are the same plastic cases that Ten-X uses for their 56-50 cartridges, when shipping reloads back to you.  http://www.berrysmfg.com/categories/34-10.php

Plastic cases won't do for NCOWS, but they sure have purty colors.

Another case to use for the 56-50 is the MTM P64-50.  It is made for the 50AE cartridge and others and works great with the 56-50.



It holds 64 rounds and is built quite a bit heavier than the the normal flip top cartridge boxes.

Midway (and others) sells them and there is a photo on their web site.  They have it well hidden within the "Reloading" catagory. It is their item No. 246173 and it lists for $4.79 each.  It's a little pricy but is sure is well made. You can do a product search by Midway item number and that is a simpler way to get there. I am sure that other mail order houses carry them also and you may be able to find them at a local gun shop.

As you can gather, I really like them. I have been using these for several years now and they have held up with no problems.  Not the cheapest, but good quality.
