Question for those handling the vendor registration??

The cost of a table is $50.00, and a 10 x10 foot space is $75.00 for members.......so, that is a total of $125.00 if you want to set up to sell, and then $30.00 for banquet tickets...for a grand total of $185.00 if two are planning on attending??...  Is that right?? A lot of money??

OCB I may be mistaken, but I believe the table comes with the spaces.

Trap is exactly right, if all you need is a table, that will just cost you $50.

The 10  X 10 foot spaces are for people that have their own display cases, etc.

These prices have been the same for the last three years, at least.  I hope to keep them that way.

Quick Question..
The airport that is called Downrtown, is that the same airport that K.C. has used for years or is this a new one and who flies into that one. I know South West flew into K.C. at one time when I used to live in Grain Valley, Mo. and worked in Blue Springs, Mo.
Anyhoo I'd like to fly in for the convention. Oh! and I'll probably need a table too. Or at least split one with someone.

See ya in Feb!

Howdy HC Charlie,

No commercial flights into the downtown airport any more.  There is a newer, [1970's] airport 13 miles north of down town.  SW still flies into KC.

Charlie;

As Dr. Bob said the main airport is north of town.  It is called Kansas City Internation Airport or KCI.  There is a free shutle from the Hotel/Convention center to the airport and visa-versa.

That's the ONE!
Flew in and out of that one several times when i lived in Mo. I just could not comprehend that it was the same airport.
Remembered that it was a LONG way around KC to the Airport from the north eat KC , Mo. side.

Well I'm going to plan to be there.

Last time I flew out of there I had been to the KC gun show (Iindepenence, Mo I believe) well a friend gave me 6 original S & W 44 Rusian Cartridges. in a plastic baggie. I got to the airport and was ready to go thru the metal detectors and the wands and such and remembered that I had the cartridges in my pocket.

CRAAAAAP!

I knew they'd take them, and even though it was just befroe 911 the screening process was a bit stiff. I went into the mens room and jammed those cartridges into my wallet and went back in line. I walked up to the metal detector, Put my belt buckle, wallet, all my change into my cowboy hat and handed it around the detector to the attendent. I walked thru the detector and all was fine , lady handed me back my hat and said "Have a nice Day" I said "thank you, and you too." Put everything back where they belonged. later i was able to put the cartridges back into my pocket.

I still have those cartridges today. And, Yes I always wear a cowboy hat when i fly....just a great place to put things when you go thru the screening process.

I could not get away with that today, nor would I even try, but it beats giving the attendant a $35.00 Buck knife. But that's another Airport story.
