A yodeling side match?  :o  I couldn't POSSIBLY consider it ... unless River City John attends, of course.  What I WAS thinking about was an operatic themed stage - in honor of the late, great Pavarotti.  10 extra points if the shooter can/will wear a clown hat and sing the famous Paliachi (sp?) verse!  ::) ::)  (The Spike Jones version would be acceptable, of course!  ;D

French Jack, I haven't yet signed up for the match - officially - but I'm considering Pistoleer.

Jack, as close as I can come to pistoleer, is Black Duelists.

Just wonderin', is anybody going to be camping at the Regional?

I might - it depends if I can attend Sun. or not.  If I do, I'll be camping in my pick-em-up. :D

GW,

I think I just might (SHB style). An evening sipping coffee and socializing by a campfire is sounding mighty appealing about now.

Will working cowboy be reloading?

Thanks
Dusty

Deadeye Don

Dusty,  I am not completely sure about the regional , but during regular matches at Modoc there is no reloading pistols since I have been attending.  We have shot 12 rifle before.   I am not sure what they are planning.  Unfortunately the person who would be able to tell you doesnt come on CAS city.  Regards, Deadeye.

Dusty,

There is one pistol reload in the Main Match, and it is one round that is to be reloaded off the clock for a bonus shot. There is another stage that calls for a five round rifle reload.

Ammo required for the Main Match is:
36 rounds Pistol
75 rounds Rifle
16 rounds Shotgun
6 rounds Pocket Pistol
NOTE- Working Cowboy will only be shooting Rifle and Pistol.

Question. I asked to shoot senior at the match. Could I change to working cowboy once I get there? TJ

TJ,

I think you'll find the boys at Modoc pretty obliging. Feel free to change to WC if you like.

I look forward to makin' your acquaintance,

River City John & I will be heading out Friday AM. We will be competing for last place working cowboy. John is shooting a rolling block in 45 Colt & cap & ball. I will be shooting a Spencer & a cap & ball. So Peevine won't be in last place.
