If you're local to So. Cal. (or close enough like my pard, Howdy Doody, to drive)....

The day after tomorrow (that would be Saturday January 7th), The Deadwood Boys will be holding our 3rd monthly Action Pistol match at the Piru range. If you can make it (and rumor has it that some guest star out-of-towners are coming), please come on down. We shoot the same course of fire on Saturday that we do at the W3G match on Sunday. Range briefing starts at 8:30AM. Main match at 9:00AM. We'll shoot 6 stages.

So, if you have an auto pistol just collecting dust in your safe and need a reson to shoot it or you'd like to get a little practice in with your home defense gun, come on out. Regardless you'll have a blast...I guarantee it. And after the match, feel free to hang out and shoot the breeze. We'll make a fire and swap some lies.

Then on Sunday the regularly-scheduled Deadwood match happens. If you've always wanted to give W3G a try, here's your chance. Shooting, moving, knocking down targets, what more need be said. Start times are the same as Saturday. 8:30AM briefing, 9:00AM main match.

One thing to remember for this month only. Our food vendor is in Florida at The Last Stand. So, we have no breakfast or lunch on either Saturday or Sunday. Fill up an extra cooler with edibles if you're coming either day.

Ya know IROT, I was just thinking I should try and make the Sunday shoot this week. So, I will try to. I have got some kind of flu today, but I hope to shake it off so I can come on down and have some fun with you folks. Saturday is out for me because I work friday nights and sleep in on saturdays.
