Howdy Pards,
I was pawing around under my loading bench and discovered a bucket of primed 45-70 brass. So I'm becoming acquainted with my data again. I've been using 4.3cc of Old Einsford 1.5 Fg under a 1/8" over powder card and under 45-70 Big Lube 500 grain lubed with PL-II. I've oriented the brass over the Mfg case head mark, in this case *-* brass with a witness sharpee mark on the case head and a stripe up the side. Sure, it takes time, but when I shoot these carefully made cartridges, I'll know that it's me that makes the score, good or bad.
Wish me luck. My eyes have a defecate from a stroke and I have to shoot with a scope now. But, if I can see it, I can hit it. . .
