i am looking for a single action pistol that has a nine inch barrel. i saw that heritage arms has one for about 150 dollars that shoots .22  I would like something in the .357 to .45 long colt range instead. the biggest issue here is money. i cannot afford to buy a 600 handgun. I am looking for something to take to the range and enjoy the feel of a nine inch barrel. does anyone know of a smaller company or off brand that would fit me? thanks and i hope to hear from you soon.

9 or 10 inches, either one.

I don't know of one.  The buntline comes with a 12" barrel and then I think that the next one down is 7.5".  I'm not sure if they come in .357.  You can get a Dragoon with an 8" barrel but according to what I have found they are very rare and very expensive.

Sorry that I couldn't be more help. :-\

Arcey has 2 buntlines, they are both .357. Both are Ubertis.

Yeah.  Both 18".

Ain't seen a 9".  Wouldn't mind though.  Gettin' the front sight a l'il farther away from my eyes is always a good thing.  Afraid my 7 1/2"s will have to do.

Links, have you handled a 7 1/2"?  Ain't much difference 'n they ain't hard to find or afford.

A 7 1/2" in action, another in the cross draw.....

i have a 6.5 inch barreled Heritage Arms .22 but am a huge fan of the long intimidating 10 inch Wyatt Earp gun. what it must feel like to stare down the barrel of a 10 inch gun. plus i would love the increased accuracy from the longer barrel. thanks for the replies.

The Cimmaron 60 RM conversions have 8" barrels, nice balance and the ones I've handled are very accurate. Not sure of the going price.
