Dumb question

 ??? What are the differances in the 60,61,62,63's
I'm sure it's alot like cars; little differances like barrel lengths,sights,flutted cylinders

1860 = med sized frame, 44cal, 6 rounds, large grips, usually 8" barrel
1861 = med sized frame, 36cal, 6 rounds, smaller grips, usually 7.5" barrel
1862 = small sized frame, 36cal, 5 rounds, usually 5.5"-6.5" barrel
1863 = ?

Additionally, the '62 Police has a round barrel and fluted cylinder, whereas the '62 Navy has an octagonal barrel and non-fluted cylinder.  Some 1860's had fluted cylinders, but not many.

Also, be cautious because the Italian makers' model numbers don't necessarily mean they are the same gun.  A 62 Pietta bears no resemblance to a 62 Uberti.
