There was a show recently....I think on IFC (Independant Film Channel), that discussed the genre of 'spaghetti westerns' with many of the old directors such Sergio Leone, etc.  Very interesting show.  Evidently, the term 'spaghetti western' is offensive to many of the Italian directors of that particular genre...and probably many Italians too.

for us the term "Spaghetti Western" it's not offensive but it means something not correct. It means something home made but more than this not well made.
I'll try in another way..............if you create a match and the props are poorly made and you have lack into the organization, wrong design on the stages ....it's a "Spaghetti" match. The "Big Iron Showdown", "Mule Camp" or "The End of Trail" are MATCH.

Got it.  I believe 'cheesy' is the similar American term.  And yes, you're right....in that ...I believe originally the term 'spaghetti western' was meant to convey exactly that.

Andy, different approach for thought, some of our American cities have sister cities around the world.  For example Waldorf Maryland has a sister city Waldorf Germany.  Maybe your club and a club here in the states would like to be sister clubs??
