Dang it, litl rooster, you're just tryin' to make it difficult, aren't you .  It is supposed to be Margarita, stabbed by Gold Dollar

Little Gertie kicked up a fuss about losing her man, and Margarita turned nasty. You're right  'bout it bein' Jesse's grave stone, but the "coward" was Bob Ford.  Jesse's alias was Thomas Howard.  The old ballad has the words  "...the dirty little coward that shot Mister Howard..."

Jesse James was a lad that killed many a man,
He robbed the Glendale train;
But that dirty little coward that shot Mister Howard
Has laid poor Jesse in his grave.
