I thought a lot of guys did a fine southern stroll myself one year.  We covered a lot of ground with that stroll, but no one could run, so even a person that was having trouble moving could do well.  As to the yodel did y'all know we  had a formal protest filed over that? Something about, "not a yodel, but rebel yell".Celeste

TJ, the yodel?  Well, no.  But the stage itself?  Yep.  It goes right along with the style of shooting I like.  And no, I didn't do all that well on it.

But you started with the closest targets and could only go until a miss.  Simple, yet elegant.

Style counts!

It's always a good shoot based on the few Nationals I've had the pleasure of attending.  I'm hoping for the best this summer, since I've missed the last 2.

I have it on good authority (Thanks, J.R. Logan) that the scenarios will be based on the Wild Bunch.  Nothing but 1911s, Winchester 97s, and maybe an M-1919 machine gun for those brave enough to shoot it!

:o

What??   ???

Oh - Butch & Sundance's Wild Bunch!  That's completely different.

Yep, Jeff, it's been modified to the Hole-in-the-Wall Gang to avoid any confusion with the movie Wild Bunch, the SASS Wild Bunch or the SASS class Wild Bunch.

We ( WSSC ) will be planting 1400 trees and shrubs..on the back 10 acres on Arbor Day weekend, April 28th, at 8 AM. This is a huge undertaking, and we need all the members, and family members we can get to put them in the ground.

So my choice for name would be HOLD IN THE GROUND GANG...CC

We tore the old Gallows down and built a new bigger better one a few stages North. Where the old Gallows was we extended Fort Lincoln and added a second larger tower. The running man is now attached to the new second tower.
Looks like fun as I have not had a chance to shoot at it yet myself.

Snakebite, Sure want to thank you all for all the hard work. Love that running man. I'll be gunning for him the third Saturday of April. Tj   :D
