In this video we're shooting the '66 Winchester Yellowboy carbine and the model 1866 Remington Revolving Carbine.

   Greetings!

Owning a replica Remington 1866 .44 Revolving Rifle, I can attest to its accuracy, light weight, and overall "handiness"; it really is a neat little rifle. If I don't worry about the violence done to the soft sphere of lead under the Rammer piston, I can crunch 40 gr. FFFg under a roundball; generally, I settle for 30 / 35 gr. GOEX FFFg.
I believe that it would really shine in the Desert Southwest for Coyotes & Jacks! As a matter of fact, I may just have to do that one of these weekends! Thanks for the great videos!

               Be Well!

Great video.  I have seen a couple people use the Remmie carbine in a match with two cylinders.

One pard trained him self so well that he still placed very well even though he was replacing cylinders every stage to get to 10 shots.

I have two 66's, one in 38 spl and one converted for 44 ruskie - love them and was my very first cowboy gun!

Howdy Mike

Have trouble counting to ten?  ;D

Nice video.
That’s bad business! How long do you think I’d stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he’d pay me that much to stop robbing him, I’d stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!

Howdy Mike,

Great video! I think I'm going to go out and buy myself an 1858 Remington revolver.

Thank you for posting this.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
