Gotta love the Ohio Valley this time of year. The temps arent so bad, it's the rest that goes with it.

Here just north of Louisville it's a lovely 98 degrees but with the humidity and other factors we have a heat index of 116.

Thanks Dave, but I still favor Angela Buchmann as my meteorological source.  ;D

How True!

Shot a match last Saturday and Sunday. The heat index was brutal both days. We set up on Saturday before the match and have to take everything down on Sunday after the match. That steel gets pretty heavy with a plus 90 heat index.

You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Ever horse out back is standing in any shade they can find nose to tail switching flies.  Crows is flying with their mouths open.  Leaves are wilting on the trees, and we had 2 inches of rain last night.  94/94 heat and humidity.  You figger the index, it's just plenty damn hot, 45 miles north of Cincy.

About 10 years ago we used Strictly Shooting indoor range to Shoot Cowboy matches , maybe we need to do it again .

Yes, We did that. But Rowdy remember how much smoke we made. Not like outside, you couldn't hardly breath. And that was with the exhaust fans going wide open. Tj  ;D
