I have an Uberti 1860 Richards conversion with the short ejector rod. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of the proper long version???

Just call Cimarron and they will send you the longer rod.  You will have to unscrew the head from the old one and put it on the new one yourself.

Thanks Abilene,
I may order the rod and head and keep the shorter one intact as I have another use for it. The last time I contacted Cimarron they weren't shipping things to Canada but I have a few shooting buddies in the USA I can have it shipped to and then pick it up at one of the cross border shoots I attend.

Thanks again

Jim,

Try VTI gun parts. I'm sure Lisa will ship to Canada      860-435-8068

Thanks Raven,

Lisa does do business with Canadians and it's excellent. I looked up the part on her website a couple of weeks ago and it looks like the same part number for the 1860 conversion and the 1872 open top. I'm assuming that is the short version. However, I have some parts to order from her so I'll ask her when I phone. Heading out for three weeks of shooting in Montana and Wyoming on June 5th and we have a postal strike starting possibly Thursday so I'll put things on hold until I get back in July.

Thanks again for the info

OK Guys = Called Lisa and she has it on order. Both rods (1872 and 1860 ) have the same part number but she is going to check to see if it's a long one before she sends it.

Thanks again
