Just got my new rig

Cliff Fendley just delivered the holster and belt he made for my Vaquero. As I expected, outstanding work! Period correct, hand sewn linen thread, authentic tooling, sewn in toe plug, copper rivets. I could not be more pleased.

Very Nice   That is one of my favorite rigs from Packing Iron.  Not exactly like it but very close.  Cliff did a geat Job.

I love that color Cliff, and great rig Deadeye. Cliff is working on a Cheyenne for me also and I left most of pretty much up to him.

Will, good eye! When bowiemaker told me his alias is Judge Carter and told me about the real Judge Carter the first thing I thought of was that dressy looking Moran Bros. holster in Packing Iron and I'd been wanting to make one like it forever. As you said it's not exact but the one in Packing Iron heavily influenced the design and tooling.
