Neat!
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Nice old gun.  Good on you for bringing it back into service.  I load the .32 S&W cartridge for my lil spur trigger Remington with a Kirst Konverter cylinder.  I have trouble getting that much powder in.  Are you compressing the powder before seating the bullet?  I'm loading the DD 32-80 Big Lube®LLC bullet.

I don't know, I could see some young Cowboy sitting in the bunkhouse showing off his new carbine. Remember that danged near everyone who went West took whatever kinda gun they could afford with'm. Beats carrying a sharp stick.

To tell the truth I am not sure on the powder , my powder measure digital scale says 5.9 grns fills up the hull then i compress the bullet down on top to the second line on it an crimp , scale can be off as much as .4 gr too so I just rounded the number , I did make the mistake an will not do it again of hollowing out the base of 1 bullet as an experiment to make it like a mini ball (Dont do this ever) didnt have a catastrophic failure but did get gassed a bit from backpressure an was unhappy from the experience , the whole deal on the gun though was just to make it shoot again , I dont own anything that wont shoot or dont want to shoot it ,,t
