NCOWS SENATORIAL ELECTIONS
« on: November 27, 2010, 08:03:15 PM »
                                                                  NCOWS Senatorial Elections
As  The Shootist  has been unavailable, the Executive Committee has voted to facilitate our annual Senate eleections through alternative means of communication. This notification process will include: postcard through the U.S. mail, e-mail via our NCOWS website(www.ncows.org), and notice placed on the CAS City NCOWS Forum (www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php).
The following Senator’s terms will expire end of this year:
Brian Brauer , IA
John Irons, Lincoln NE
Dave Scott, Greenfield IN
Mike Tatham, Raytown MO
George Warnick, Beatrice NE
Any NCOWS member in good standing may run for Senator. Terms are for three years. Anyone who chooses to run for this office, including incumbants seeking re-election, can ‘throw their hat in the ring’ by formal notification to any member of the Executive Committee. Include a brief bio and/or statement of your ‘plank’ to be due back by December 15, 2010.
After December 15, 2010, the EC will mail out to the membership the list of interested candidates and their bios, etc. along with a ballot to be returned to a predetermined mailing address. These bios shall also be placed on our website and CAS City, along with a downloadable ballot. The deadline for the membership to return ballots to the designated address is 1/31/2011.

Just to be sure, Steel Horse, you'd best hand deliver it.

I'll leave the light on, the stew pot warming by the fire, and the jug lightly corked.
