Howdy pards.  Names Chris Floyd but I been a Buffalo Bill impersonator for so long most folks don't even know my real name. Buffalo Bill works fine for me ! Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been reading this forum for a long time and finally decided to join in the fun. I don't think there are any NCOWS members in North Dakota and most of the SASS guys here are happy doing things their way and not concerned with the level of historical accuracy that I would prefer. My daytime job doesn't allow me to travel as much as I would like either so shooting usually is local with the SASS guys. If there are like-minded folks in my area that I don't know about, I sure would like to meet them. I live in Minot. Thanks for listening. . .

Bill,

My wife's extended family all reside in the north-central parts of South Dakota (Edmunds county & Aberdeen areas).   We are up there visiting at least 3 times a year.

I realize that Minot is a long way from there, but if you guys get a posse started, I'd sure enjoy coming to visit yall for a shoot when I'm up that way.

Buffalo Bill,

There is now a notice on the NCOWS web site with a link to this thread.

Well welcome and good luck, Buff.  I hope you find enough cowboys and cowgirls.  I just sold a Sharps to a fella in Minot, so they are out there.
