I love dogs, but this is just wrong in my opinion.  A friend sent me this and wanted me to post this around so folks will know how bad a Medal of Honor winner's remains are being treated.

AGREE...If this man's remains cannot be moved imediately, at least a fence around his plot & perhaps a flag.....that would take a small amount of money an no brain to figure out......jeez!!

It's sad and outrageous what we've come to in this country.

I just saw where there is a group trying to build a casino on the Gettysburg Battlefield.

The very least they could do would be to erect a fence around the grave site to keep people and dogs off.  That would not cost much and would preserve the honor of the man a bit.

This is the quote from the article that riles me the most.

"It's a beautiful memorial park, a different kind of park because living people come to have fun. I would think those buried here would like that," said Jessi Burt, a 24-year-old park neighbor walking her boxer Ally.

This fries my hide. When this idiot dies we ought to drink some beverages and go visit her grave.

Look where it's happening.  Kalifornia.

There are a LOT of wonderful people in California; they're NOT all idiots, but it seems that 75% of the ideas/actions/deeds/Politicians  that happen these days originate in the great state of confusion ... er, California.  Or New York.  (And some from Chicago, too - it's a Daly occurrence  ::))

Oh, America, my beloved America - what has happened to you ...?

Typical attitude from a typical Kalifornia Politician ... Pretty well shows where the "poop" really is;  between her ears!  As in, "Poop" fer brains!

To say it is disgraceful isn't strong enough. I live near the city of Gadsden, Alabama. U.S. Highway 278 runs throught the center of town. As you enter the town, in the center of the median is a fenced in area with a monument and gravestones. The one person buired there is a woman named Emma Samson. She is considered a Confederate hero for helping a Confederate unit escape by riding on the back of a cavalryman's horse so the Union troops wouldn't fire on him. It is regarded as hallowed ground.
That a city would allow a dog park to be made of a cemetary is not only disgraceful to the Medal Of Honor holder, but to everyone else still enterred there.
I am retired U.S. Navy, I served my country to the best of my ability for more than twenty years and it saddens me to see veterans of any war disrespected in such a manner.
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.
