Had a question regarding some of the conversion revolvers available...Which ones are the most historically accurate, by design and in what cartridge size they can come in? thanks in advance.

Given that there's a forum dedicated to Conversion revolvers - with numerous threads - I'll point you towards the 'STORM'  forum.

While there's some information here on 'Frontier Iron'  - there's a lot more on 'STORM' that'll be most helpful.

For actual historical information on Conversions - read McDowell's fine book - 'A Study of Colt Conversions and Other Percussion Revolvers'.

For 'pretty' - read Adler's - 'Metallic Cartridge Conversions'.

Good Luck!
