Rowdy and all,
Sweetwater and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last year. It's onlly a few miles from the range. Let me tell you about that free hot breakfast. It's a real breakfast, hot coffee, tea, juice, bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravey, hot rolls, bagels, toast, fresh fruit. Get the picture, a real meal. It even filled Sweetwater up and that's doing something. You all know my buddie Sweetwater, all 450# and he enjoys eating. $74 spit two ways and then what would the price of that breakfast be for two. Then it's just a short drive to the range. All I can say is see you at the Holiday Inn Express for the NCOWS National. TJ  ;) :D ;D

Wonder if they would cater breakfast out to the range?   ;D

Or we could just get Texas Jack to bring us a Doggie Bag. He's probably used to that.

Hey buddies I'd do if I could. That hotel might wonder how in the world I could eat that much. Then again eating is what I do best. Remember at dinner time Texas Jack becomes Hungry Jack. When he eats to much he becomes sleepy and Lumber Jack. And often after eating he becomes Texas Gas. As you can see I have a lot of AKA names. But what I like best is cowboy action shooting and being with all you pards from NCOWS. See you at Evansville in June. TJ  ;D ;D

There is also a Motel 6 on Hwy 41N that is very reasonable.  Has a Denny's right next door.  I believe it is in the $40 something a nite range.  I stayed there last year.  About 15-20 minutes from Westside.  You can Google them or check on Motel 6 website.

Fellows, Rowdy is correct. Had a very good meeting today. Dodge Boy, Rowdy, and myself drove over. French Jack and Jeff Farmer drove a long way to be there. Several West Side folks showed up and had a good fire going (Snakebite, Duke Henry, Col. Deadeye, Lefty, and several gentleman that I can not remember their names including their president and grounds keeper). Their have several new projects going that we will really like. It was a good start for the 09 National. We will have more after the 09 NCOWS Convention. TJ
