Not with my Dad, but my Grand dad!  We used to sit in his garage, (and being careful to watch out for traffic on the “NOT TO WELL USED” road between Racine and Kenosha counties in Wisconsin, and picked off gophers in the then empty field  across the county line with his .22 Mossberg rifle. He hated those Kenosha Kritters.   ::) ::)

Here's Little Bit shootin the .22.  We've been workin on her posture, but she's a good shot none the less.
     She got a BB gun and outshoots the rest of the family.  Got her eyes on the Marlin and it shouldn't be long before she's the queen of centerfire ;D

I still have that Mossberg, and it still shoots as god as it did 40+ years ago.!!! :o ;D
