Howdy, carrera1281.  Welcome, Amigo.

I have read your post, and I am not sure exactly what you mean when you say the rim of the brass is not cut square.  Has the rim of the Buffalo Arms brass been thinned so that is has a tapper to it? :-\  Are you shooting an Uberti or a Chaparral replica?

I cut down my own brass to make 45-60 cases, so I have no experience with the Buffalo Arms stuff.  Maybe John Boy or another member can help more. :)

Bye the way, if you are getting 5 shots in one hole at 100 yards, I think I would stick with Jamison brass!  That's excellent performance! ;D

Carrera:  Welcome to Winchester 1876.  And please don't worry about your English.  Your problem is 100% understood.
Buffalo Arms hydraulically extrudes their brass.  Sounds like they did not make the rim square.

Suggest that you send Buffalo Arms an email with your purchase invoice and the dimensions of the rims.  I am sure they will send you corrected brass.  Here is their email webpage - http://www.buffaloarms.com/feedback.htm

Let us know how you make out.

I have just ordered 100 45-60 cases off an Australian case manufacturer they will cost me Aust $220.00, he has just sent an order of 25,000 over to the US and I would imagine you should be able to buy through Buffalo Arms.

I am now waiting for a set of 45-60 dies from BA and then start to reload and get the rifle down to the range ;D
