.43 Spanish Cartridge Box and Label scans
« on: August 15, 2007, 07:15:09 PM »
Howdy,

When I purchased my rolling block it came with a couple boxes of UMC ammo.

You can dowload high resolution scans of the label plus pictures of the box construction with dimensions at:

Does anyone have a link to DYI instructions for the box?

Thank You. I have one of these .43 Spanish Remington rolling block rifles. It is in good shape considering it's age but ammo is expensive.

You can buy cases, dies, bullets and even bullet molds which cuts way down on the cost.  The cases are expensive but last many reloads.
Track of the Wolf has lots of good information.

My rolling block is much more accurate than I am. With BP loads my chronos are within 40 fps around 1400 fps with a 385 (close to that) bullet.
