WBC,

 :P :P :PSACRILEGE!!!!!! :P :P :P
Wild Bill is ashamed! and Aghast!

Personally, I'll admit that I'm a Remy(originals) man, but there is no finer pistola out there than a nice 1851 Colt Navy or a pair of them.
I love my 2nd Gen.s, but then it's got a lot to do with OCTAGONAL BBL.s in my book in the looks dept. A lot to do with the balance, handling, feel, natural pointing in the shooting dept..
P.S. I like my 1860 Belgian Colts too, but for different reasons.

Guess I better splain myself.......
I've always had more appreciation
for the graceful curves on the front
of the '60 & '61 or the curves on my
'71/'72 's. The '51 of mine is a very
early clone w/ a brass frame and just
looks kinda "thrown together" to me.
Hard to explain....sorta like comparing
the fenders on an old Indian Chief vs a
H-D.The sweeping lines of a recurve bow
vs the angles of a compound bow.
Does that make any sense??

Sgt.Eli I'd like to apologize for taking this thread off track .
(Edited to withdraw the "I'll take'em" wording of earlier post.)
I went out to eat around 7pm and barely made it home. I'll
be replacing a water pump tomorrow or sat. This sux.
